The Ellington Cocktail

You tasted it our event, now learn how to make The Ellington Cocktail with this online tutorial by its creator, Scott Baird, one of our favorite local mixologists.

Click here for the Video Tutorial. Remember, shake it HARD…

A drink to embody the vibe of Ellington had to be a classic. Based on a whiskey sour, we didn’t have to look to far to find the right ingredients for this cocktail.

Featuring the single malt whiskey of local distiller, St. George Spirits this drink is sweetened with Apricot Liqueur to balance the flavor. Dry shaken with a little sugar, bitters and  egg white creates a frothy confection of perfection.

Try to make one yourself tonight!

Or head over to Kincaid’s where they are featuring it as a special If you come into The Ellington on your way, we’ll even give you $10 towards your food and beverage purchase there – just because… That’s the kind of neighbors we are.
