Thought Provoking Exhibit Explores Black Male Identity
“Question Bridge: Black Males” opened up last weekend at the Oakland Museum of California and has already been regarded as one of the top exhibitions to see in the Bay Area in 2012 by the San Francisco Chronicle. The collection of video interviews by multimedia artist Hank Willis Thomas and photography professor Chris Johnson, Question Bridge creatively discusses societal issues among 150 black men in 11 different cities.
The exhibit will run until July 8 at the OMCA and will also be featured simultaneously at museums in Brooklyn, Atlanta, and Salt Lake City.
